Where did the name of this dish come from – probably nobody knows it, but almost everyone loves it. Perfectly seasoned salmon tartare can compete with the most sophisticated cuisines from around the world, and what is more – it can win these competitions with no problem at all. Surprise your guest or guests (if you increase the amount of ingredients used) with a dish that, like no other, combines finesse with everyday life. And like no other dish, it can serve as both a starter and a main course. Ladies and gentlemen – here comes salmon tartare! It is, of course, MOWI salmon tartare!
Preparing our version of this dish will not be a problem even for beginner chefs. It is clear that in order to prepare salmon tartare one primarily needs MOWI salmon – smoked and fresh, and a few additives for flavour.
To start with, an extremely simple task: chopping MOWI salmon (as we have already mentioned – smoked and fresh).
The next step does not require great skills, either, but we can do it in two ways:
1. We can mix chopped MOWI salmon with onion, cucumber, chilli and sesame, season it with soy sauce and sesame oil – do it your way.
2. We can also give our guests a choice and serve the ingredients listed in the recipe on a plate next to the chopped fish for them to choose the amount and proportions of additions that will enrich the taste of MOWI salmon prepared as salmon tartare.
3. The third step is as simple as the previous two: preparing toasts – that is, putting them in the right device or frying them in a pan (you can cut them into fancy shapes!). Is it ready? If so, salmon tartare is also ready!
